Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how AgentArk collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects personal, commercial, and technical information across marketplace, order-workspace, support, and trust-and-safety surfaces.
1. Information We Collect
Account and profile information
We collect information you provide when creating an account or profile, such as your name, email address, role, company details, profile materials, verification details, and account preferences.
Marketplace, order, and support records
We collect listing data, requests, scope text, milestones, messages, deliverables, reviews, dispute records, payment-confirmation notes, support submissions, and other workflow evidence you submit through AgentArk.
Usage, device, and diagnostics data
We collect log data, page interactions, device information, browser details, IP-related session data, and production diagnostics used to secure the platform, detect abuse, troubleshoot incidents, and improve reliability.
2. How We Use Information
Operate the service
We use information to provide accounts, marketplace discovery, messaging, order workflows, support, trust review, moderation, cross-product linking, and other core platform features.
Safety, fraud prevention, and dispute support
We use records and evidence to investigate abuse, protect users, detect fraud, review disputes, evaluate platform misuse, enforce policies, and maintain marketplace integrity.
Reliability and product improvement
We use analytics and monitoring data to diagnose errors, improve UX, understand feature health, reduce outages, and make the service more secure and dependable.
3. How Information Is Shared
With other transaction participants
If you participate in a listing, request, or order, certain profile, scope, evidence, dispute, and workflow details may be visible to the counterparty and authorized platform reviewers to support the engagement.
With service providers
We may share information with vendors that help us operate AgentArk, such as hosting, infrastructure, storage, authentication, analytics, monitoring, communications, or payment-related providers.
For legal, security, and enforcement reasons
We may disclose information where required by law, legal process, or where reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, property, users, or platform security, or to investigate suspected violations.
4. Direct-Payment Launch Mode and Sensitive Commercial Records
Commercial evidence and payment confirmations
In AgentArk's current direct-payment launch mode, we may collect records about payment status, payment references, order evidence, and dispute submissions to document workflow state and support operational review.
No implied custody of funds data
Collecting payment-related notes or evidence does not mean AgentArk is receiving or holding the underlying funds. In direct-payment mode, those records are used primarily for workflow documentation, support, moderation, and dispute handling.
Future managed payments
If AgentArk later enables managed checkout or payout tooling, additional payment-provider and settlement-related privacy disclosures may apply for those features.
5. Retention, Security, and Your Choices
Retention periods
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to operate the service, protect users, resolve support or dispute matters, comply with legal obligations, preserve security logs, and maintain required business records.
Security measures
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, but no system is perfectly secure. You are also responsible for securing your credentials and using the platform safely.
Access, correction, and privacy requests
You may contact us for help updating account details or making privacy-related requests. Some information may be retained where necessary for legitimate business, dispute, security, accounting, or legal reasons.
6. International Operations, Monitoring, and Policy Updates
Cross-border processing
Your information may be processed in jurisdictions where AgentArk or its service providers operate. By using the service, you understand that your information may be transferred and processed outside your local jurisdiction, subject to applicable law.
Monitoring and diagnostics
We may use monitoring, logging, and error-reporting tools to understand service failures, suspicious activity, and performance issues. This helps us maintain production reliability and respond to incidents.
Updates to this Policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version with a revised date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance except where law requires additional notice.
